Minerals play a big part in our health and when we are trying to build muscle we need to eat right. Unfortunately depending on where we live and how much money we can spend getting the right amount of minerals can be difficult. Knowing where some of these minerals can be found can help you work out your own diet plan to build muscles with a healthy diet.

First let’s mention what they do and how they affect the entire body so you can see how important Minerals really are. Minerals are stored in our hormones and enzymes. We all have heard of Calcium and it comes from cheese, milk and dark flourishing vegetation. Calcium strengthens the bones and teeth, as well as the nerves.

Selenium has antioxidant affects and protects the membrane cells. You can find it in meat, vegetables, seafood, and grains.

Magnesium promotes bones health plus it releases energies that come from foods. It can be found in grains, green leafy vegetation and soybeans.

Sodium is basically salt. Salt is necessary to keep our neurons functioning, as well as keeping certain acid based chemicals balanced.

Zinc helps with how we regulate energy from food. Zinc can be found in oysters, beef, whole grains, particular nuts, dark meats in the poultry category and so on.
